ATTENTION: This application requires iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s or iPad to run. It will not work correctly on an iPod or earlier versions of iPhones.
Our goal is to help Muslims around the world practice their prayers by providing a tool that shows the Qibla direction. Now you don't have to look for someone who knows the direction, do calculations using the position of the sun, look for the north or look for a mosque.
With "Show Qibla" you can rest assured that wherever you are in the world with one touch of a button it will show you the correct direction to the Kaaba. The application uses the GPS and the compass that are built into your iPhone to determine an accurate location and direction to the Kaaba.
Please note that you can only get a true direction that shows the Qibla if you have an iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4 or an iPad, because this is the only device that includes a built in compass. Without a compass on the device, no application will be able to show you the correct direction.
Magnetic objects may cause interference with the compass in the iPhone. Please try to use "Show Qibla" away from computers and speakers. In the case of a magnetic interference you will see a message. You can calibrate your phone by simply waving it in a figure 8 motion.
