There are a couple of other "Jamaican sound system/reggae" sound apps out there but none come close to this one bit. Whoever put this app together has a major true love for the sound systems and reggae music as you can either go old school analog sounds or with the newer digital sounds. You also get a variety of sound banks to play with as well as being able to change the sounds pitch, echo, reverb, etc... You can buy sound banks from major reggae legends and modern day producers such as Lee Perry, Big Youth, Mad Professor, Jahtari and more. For the masses of reggae lovers out there and DJ's this app is amazing and much needed.

It's amazing to think that you can literally rock a party with a couple of iPhones/iPads with an app like Dub Siren and any decent Djay app.
All the original and authentic sound effects that made the sound system era great are present.

Superb app, reminds me of soundsystems I heard back in the 80s South London. A lot of fun importing your old faves from iTunes and mashing them down with the superb choice of effects. Would be good to record sessions or add your own sound effects but I guess the beauty of the app is its simplicity and low barrier to entry.

Being a composer of music, I am always on the lookout for tools that aid in the creative process. This was quite a nice surprise! The software does exactly what it claims and is not a crappy hype app. It takes my Reggae music to the next level with the sampled clips that bring about a genuine authenticity that can't be matched! And of course the streaming reggae stations put the radio stations on my other players to shame!!!! Peace. One love.
