If you have any issues at all, please contact us first rather than posting a negative review. We are a small "mom & pop" operation and your reviews can make or break our application.

This app will teach you how to read and write hiragana, katakana and all grade 1 joyo kanji. It also will teach you the pronunciation for each character, including the "on" and "kun" readings for each kanji. The self test mode will allow you to test your skills. The app tracks your progress and will repeat characters you have difficulty writing or get incorrect, without explicitly saying "wrong". In this way, you can be assured that you aren't focusing on what you're getting wrong, but instead build on your successes.

Coming soon we will release each additional joyo level kanji. Additionally, we appreciate any feedback or feature requests you may have. Just as the Japancast.net video podcast is driven by our viewers, this application will be driven by you. Your input is critical in helping us create the best app possible for learning Japanese.
