Unboxed - QR Code Reader for iOS
Now half price Until January 3rd!

Unboxed brings incredibly fast quick response (QR) code scanning right to your iPhone or iPod touch, using either your devices camera, or open a previously saved code from your photo library.

Here's what our customers are saying about Unboxed -

"Works great. Especially like that it tells you what the QR code contains without having to act on it…" - Mac100

"No web redirection, so your data stays private..." - The Wolves With Dances

"Beats the free QR code readers" - Timmy Jeng

"An easy to use QR code scanner that automatically scans QR codes without having to press a capture button." - 59p

Unboxed's features include:
• Read codes from the camera or the photo library.
• Optimised scanning algorithms to ensure quick recognition and decoding.
• One touch scanning. No resizing or having to press a second button to scan.
• Support for URL, text, SMS (number without message only due to limitations in iOS), FaceTime, App Store, phone number, YouTube video and email address QR codes.
• Codes scanned on your device, stay on your device. Unboxed does not send your scanned codes to us in the background without your knowledge.

Scanning a supported code will give you the option to then open a link in Safari, view the YouTube video, send a text message, call a phone number or send an email.

Codes currently not supported will be displayed in their text form for you to read the information hidden within. So, even when other readers give you a 'no recognized code' message, you can still read the decoded text with Unboxed.

What's new in Version 1.5
• Now requires iOS 5.0 or later.

• All new app icon to fit in with redesigned interface which will be released in a future update.

• BlackBerry Messenger codes are now recognized as such.

• MEBKM codes are now recognized and will allow you to open a URL. iOS doesn't support creating bookmarks from within apps at this time so if you want to bookmark the URL that needs to be done from within your browser after you open it.

• Android market codes are now recognized as such.

• Improved crash reporting so I can work on fixing the bugs that cause them.

• Better support for URL codes with spaces within them.

• Better support for URLs within text codes.

• Better support for URLs with titles.

• Fixed a bug where QR codes beginning with URL: were not being recognized correctly.

• Fixed positioning of text on buttons when a larger status bar, such as return to call, is displayed.
