GPS to SMS is an app that makes it possible to share your current location by sending it via SMS or E-Mail. The message contains the GPS position data and a link to Google™ Maps.
On the iPhone the Google™-Maps Link is opened with the Maps-App. So its possible to use the Maps-Navigation to find the route to the sender of the message.
It also works (limited) without internet connection, so its a great tool for trips to foreign countries where the roaming costs are often very high, to tell your friends where you are.
Before sending the message hava a look of the displayed accuracy - its getting better the longer you wait.

+ Fixed the altitude issue in the email
+ Fixed a problem in email with the map
+ Added a flashlight button which turns on the front LED (button is only visible on iPhone 4 and 4S)
+ automatic address detection: If the gps accuracy is good enough and an internet connection is available, your current address is displayed in a scrolling label.
In this case the address is also added to the email.
The address is refreshed every minute if your location has changed more than 10 meters.
