■ Purchase and download in the application
SQUARE ENIX CHARACTERS MAIL allows you to purchase and download emoticons, pictures, and templates. All downloaded items can be used in new mail along with the pre-installed ones.

■A new version of the application is now available!
・An issue was addressed where the iPhone 4S or devices that had updated to iOS 5 could not display or use the emoticon entry or text decoration features when using the Japanese Kana keypad or Romaji keyboard.
・Other minor issues were also addressed.

■A Note for Customers Unable to Enter Text in an E-mail’s Body:
If you are unable to enter text in an e-mail’s body by tapping the entry area, please try the following methods:
1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red “slide to power off” slider appears, power off the device, and then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

If restarting your device does not fix the issue, your device’s iOS software may not be up to date.
2. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running on your computer. Connect your device to your computer, and select your device when it appears in iTunes under Devices. Then select the Summary tab, and click Check for Update.
