The one stop application for moving in Rome. No configurations or data entering, nor knowledge of the complex bus and metro systems or the many and costly ways to reserve taxis are needed: just open the application to immediately see the stops with the belonging lines on your map - now ever faster thanks to the cache, and the buses and taxis as they move. Click on a bus to know its next stop and destination; click on a taxi to have more information and/or to reserve it. If you do not want to navigate the map, convenient buttons allow to located the closest stop for your desired bus, or taxi.
At last no need to toss a coin before deciding if trying to catch a bus on one size or the other of your position: the icons on the screen will do that for you!
Just click on one of the yellow icons to see the list of approaching buses with the expected waiting times and the other buses passing by the stop. You have just to enter a destination in the top field to receive the directions to it from wherever you are in Rome in a few seconds , and now you may also do it on iOS 6 from the Apple map with arbitrary departure and arrival locations.
To make things even simpler, you may now also touch a location on the map to get the directions to get there!
The route of the selected bus is both conveniently presented on a list with the nearest stop(s) to your position highlighted, and drawn on the map.

One last thing: although the application needs a regular functioning of the Rome transports web site (daily from 6.30 a.m. to 12 p.m.) in order to provide timely updates, even at night and when the web site is down it is possible to know where stops are, which lines belong to them and their routes, what neither a direct web access, nor applications devoid of a specific back-office service would grant, while you can always resort to taxis by clicking on them around the clock or reserving the closest one.
A specific icon will show the status of the Atac support.
A local cache also enables a limited offline usage.

Do not forget to load it on your iPhone before coming to the Eternal City, but you may also use it even in your own country country to take advantage of the taxi service available worldwide for subscribed drivers.

Due to the richness of the interface, a Retina display is strongly suggested to enjoy the app at its best.
