High-sound-quality Linear PCM, high-sound-quality yet with a limited file size: Apple Lossless, the most compact file size with a good sound quality: ACC.
You can choose whatever suits you best.

Linear PCM (WAVE): CD sound quality (44.1kHz), DVD sound quality (48.0kHz)
Apple Lossless: CD sound quality (44.1kHz), DVD sound quality (48.0kHz)
AAC: 64kbps‾160kbps

Stereo recording available. Just connect an external stereo microphone, and stereo recording is automatically done.
※ This does not constitute a guarantee of the operation of all external microphones.

・ Multifunction playback mode
You can change the playback position by slider.
Or use the six skip buttons (3 for forward and 3 for backward).
These buttons help you to go backward at the moment you missed something. No frustrating fine-tune by the slider.
There are also 3 marking buttons.
Just one tap to jump to the marked position.
Repeated playback between the marked positions is available too.

You can change playback speed in iOS5!
Speed up or slow down playback, not only for the recorded contents, it’s ideal for the playback of audio book and Podcast as well.
# Function of changing playback speed is not displayed in iOS4 or iOS3.

・ Edit the file name
You can change the file names as well.
The recording file will be saved as “year, month, date, hour, minute, second” of the recording.
Please edit the file name to whatever you like.

・ Work in the background
Both recording and playback can work in background.
Recording and playback can be done when iPhone (iPad, iPod touch) is in sleep mode.

・Connect to PC
You can import or export iTunes files by the sharing function.
