Learn to Read'nWrite the Korean alphabet 한글 (hangul). In the process, learn a vocabulary of around 200 words and phrases.

The simpliest way to use this App is to just keep tapping the 'advance' button - the white circular button with the triangle.

This takes you through the entire lesson plan, letter by letter, step by step.

Alternatively, you can use the Lessons and Pages menus at the bottom of the screen to navigate directly to the letters you want to learn, or the exercises you want to complete.

* The Exercises

In order to progress through the Lessons, you need to successfully complete the Listening and Multichoice exercises. The next Lesson will be unlocked only if you get 100% correct in the preceding Lesson's exercises. Tough, we know, but fair!

* Letters

Lessons start by introducing new Korean letters and examples of the use of these letters. To see the examples (which all include real native-speaker pronunciations), just swipe to the right (or just tap the 'advance' button).

* Writing and Reading

After introducing the letters, the Writing page illustrates how the letters is written, and how it can be combined with other letters to form syallables and words. Animations are used to illustrate stroke orders. Getting these right is important if your written Korean is to look right.

* The Listening Exercise

The Listening Exercise is a simple as playing the sound and typing the corresponding Korean letters. Remember that Korean letters are tying in the same order that they are written. The App keyboard will combine the individual letters into the appropriate word form.

* The Multichoice Exercise

The Multichoice Exercise requires you play the sound and then select the matching Korean word - as simple as that.
