Why did we make this app?
One of us is a track runner and the other a swimmer (both in high school), and we got frustrated with the default stopwatch. Why is it necessary to look at the screen in order to start and stop, lap or reset? Why do the splits disappear the instant the stopwatch is reset?
We set out to make an improved stopwatch, with all the features that are required for a useful stopwatch on the iPhone. The end result: eyeFree Sports Stopwatch
