Audio Journal allows you to record and listen to your recordings in an intuitive phrase-by-phrase fashion.
With real-time analysis, Audio Journal separates your recordings into phrases, an intuitive way to interact with audio.
The transcribing feature allows you to transcribe your phrases easily as the app loops the phrase until you've finished typing it out. No more scrolling back to a random point to listen again, transcribing is so much more intuitive now!
Editing your recordings has never been easier! Because Audio Journal separates your audio into phrases, you can easily edit out the phrases you didn't like. Now with Audio Journal there is absolutely no trimming involved!
Navigating through your recording is also a breeze, it's no longer based on time but based on phrases; the way your brain understands best. Just scroll up and down, and listen to the phrases you want to hear.

- iOS 8 support added
- Changed UI controls for navigation from swiping to tapping and scrolling. It is now similar to a text editing interface.
- Added export feature. Currently exports an .aiff and .txt file which you can download via iTunes File Share
- Optimised memory usage for UI, reduces a lot of UI lag issues for journals with long recordings.
- Optimised audio data loading for playback, reduces many crash issues for journals with long recordings.
- Removed controls for adjusting audio threshold for noise by replacing with auto detection.
- Added checking for Microphone permissions, will pop up an alert message if permission is denied.
